Blackjack has a long history in the casino world, but it was in recent years — with the explosion of online casinos in Brazil — that the game truly won over the local audience. What was once reserved for trips to Las Vegas or Punta del Este is now available on any Brazilian's phone with an internet connection. And the 6ttc led the way by delivering a blackjack experience that truly does the game justice — with real dealers, a wide variety of tables, and support in Portuguese.
What sets blackjack apart from most casino games is that strategy genuinely matters. With slots, you hit a button and wait for the outcome — what happens is completely out of your hands. In blackjack, every decision you make directly affects the result of that hand. Hit, stand, double down, split, insurance — each move has math behind it, and players who study basic strategy can bring the house edge down to under 0.5%. That makes blackjack the highest-RTP game in the entire casino when played correctly.
At the 6ttc, the RTP on blackjack tables reaches 99.5% with perfect basic strategy — a figure very few online casino games can match. That means that, on average, for every R$ 100.00 wagered over many hands, a player can expect to get back R$ 99.50. Individual sessions will vary, of course, but over the long run blackjack is mathematically the most player-friendly game in any casino.
Basic blackjack strategy is a set of mathematically optimal decisions for every possible combination of player hand versus dealer card. There's no complex pattern memorization involved — it's a straightforward chart that anyone can learn in a few hours. The 6ttc makes this table available free of charge to all registered players.
Here is a simplified breakdown of the most common decisions based on basic strategy:
| Your Hand | Dealer shows 2–6 | Dealer shows 7–9 | Dealer shows 10 or Ace |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 or less | Hit | Hit | Hit |
| 9 | Double Down | Hit | Hit |
| 10 or 11 | Double Down | Double Down | Hit |
| 12–16 | Stand | Hit | Hit |
| 17 or higher | Stand | Stand | Stand |
| Pair of Aces | Split | Split | Split |
| Pair of 8s | Split | Split | Split |
A golden rule that any experienced 6ttc player will tell you: never take Insurance. It looks tempting when the dealer shows an Ace — you can bet half your original wager to protect yourself against the dealer's natural blackjack. The problem is that mathematically, insurance benefits the house, not the player. With basic strategy, the right call is almost always to decline insurance and play on.
The Double Down is one of the most powerful tools a player has when used correctly. Doubling down on 11 against a dealer showing 6 is one of the highest positive-expectation plays in all of blackjack. At the 6ttc, Double Down is available on all tables and variants, including live mode — and the button is clearly displayed in the interface so you never miss the opportunity.
Split is another move that turns a bad hand into two winning opportunities. A pair of 8s, for example, totals 16 — one of the worst hands in the game. By splitting into two separate 8s, you replace a nearly unplayable hand with two hands that each have real potential. At 6ttc, some tables allow up to three re-splits, multiplying your possibilities even further.
There are two types of online blackjack: software-based, where cards are generated by an RNG, and live, where a human dealer deals real cards at a casino studio streamed on video. The 6ttc offers both, but the live experience is what truly sets the platform apart.
The live tables at 6ttc are run by Portuguese-speaking dealers, which creates a natural connection for Brazilian players. You can interact via real-time chat, the dealer responds, and the atmosphere has an ease to it that makes the game genuinely enjoyable — a far cry from the silence of clicking buttons on a screen. The stream is in HD, the cards are physical and real, and the shuffle happens live right in front of you.
In addition, the 6ttc hosts monthly blackjack tournaments with real-money prizes. The scoring format is straightforward: the more hands you win and the higher your bet multiplier, the more points you rack up on the leaderboard. Prizes are paid out in BRL directly via Pix to the winners. If you're ready to take your blackjack game to the next level, keep an eye on promotions and don't miss the tournaments.
